The #1 Reason Why You Don’t Bring Your Practice Game To The Course

The biggest problem I have assisted golfers to overcome in my entire career is the maddening frustration that you can’t swing or putt when it counts like you do in practice.  On the range or practice putting green, you’re smooth…it’s easy…you’re relaxed and comfortable and literally like another person.

And then you step up to the first tee and something takes over you.  Sometimes you really feel it but much of the time, you don’t and you have visions and thoughts that today is going to be your day…but it doesn’t happen.

Why?

I’ll tell you in this video why…

    Thanks Craig,

Excellent explanation of our emotions, the Fear we have that keeps us from
performing at our best ability. I, too have fear that hinders my golf game.
It’s a real challenge to tackle those emotions. You really brought it out Craig.

Thank you for the comment Judith. Keep asking yourself “What am I really afraid of here?”
And then, in your mind, visit those worst case scenarios and finish those mental stories with “I will be ok”
and that is the basic process to eliminate any fear.
      Greens and Fairways,

      Craig

    Been a while Craig!
Great video. Had to pull this up for my buddy who shot about 10 strokes higher than average in his first college tournament. I think the failure of not achieving one’s goals or aspirations is a big factor.
    You’re the best
